he sits alone
with his camera
waiting for the twilight Sun
then
with heart
eye and shutter
captures the morning sunrise
filled with the stunning colours
of another beautiful day to come
far, far away
in my own kitchen
his pictures fill my life
with colour, warmth and light
they greet me in my daytime
treat me all through my night
we all need our own special
Sunshine Man
to chase away
our tears
and gloom
mine sits alone
with his camera
his beautiful gift
such a wonderful lift
all the more for knowing
his photo’s are so much richer
because in his own inner picture
he knows all of the shadowy shades
of the darker side of our moon
